Not sure what you mean by added calibration settings, but neither of these sets have the advanced set up controls of the higher end panels as mentioned in the CNET review. As far as the processor is concerned, I believe the Panasonic 3D sets now offer a new and improved subfield drive with a faster response time, but the difference is nominal, especially in terms of 2D content. Plasma's have a standard refresh rate of 60hz. 3D PDP's will refresh 3D at 120. (1080/60 X 2, one for each eye) Specifically speaking, for each frame displayed on the TV, a 600 subfield drive flashes the pixels at least 10 times per second. 10X60 = 600. The faster the flashes, the smoother the motion. However, most 2D plasmas today, including ones with the current 600Hz subfield drive, reproduce much of the available resolution, even with fast motion.
