Samsung UN55ES7003 need help getting more detail in the picture.

This is my first Samsung so not sure what setting I am missing. I had bought a 55"LG 4600 and worked on the adjustments for a week and had a perfect picture. Lines were crisp detail was excellent. But clouding and flash-lighting was horrible. Tried a Vizio, too many thing wrong with that. Thought I would try the Samsung because I really like the features and the look. It.s only 1" thick with hardly any frame. I just can't get the picture as good as I had the LG. The specs looked a lot better then the LG 240Hz Vs.120Hz Contrast ratio a lot higher. I am hooked up to HD (cable) and HD DIsh Network (HDMI) Any help would be appreciated before I send it back.

It's really too bad such a beautiful TV. Not sure what to get instead.

Well I have tried everything to get a clear crisp image on this Samsung and nothing works. I have tried everybody's settings and read everything I can find on the subject. There seems to fewer settings on the 7003 compared to the 7100.

I Hooked up the Vizio 60" 120Hz (I am taking back) side by side with the Samsung and the difference is unbelievable, The Vizio is so much more clear. The 55" LG 120Hz was even more clear then the Vizio.

Not sure what to do next. I would just keep the Vizio if it didn't take a total of 18 seconds to turn on and was an inch thinner. Might have to try another 60" LG. Anybody have a idea?

Talked to Samsung today, they said there is something wrong with the TV. They suggest I return it.

The Samsung rep. told me to go to the support page and look at the picture that is provided for comparison to what I was seeing and that picture had the same lack of detail I was seeing on my HD broadcast. Picture is of the beach and the lack of detail was obvious. On my Vizio is not hard to see single hair on someone's head. She thought it was just my set and the picture should be better then I was experiencing.

Just packed it up for a return to Walmart tomorrow.

Can't find one, just a Holiday special I guess.
