HD DVD Player with Audio Output Choce

I am setting up two projectors in a restaurant. I'll be using two HDMI cables for video (with 1 to 2 HDMI splitter), but would like to use the surround speakers for audio. Any suggestions on a DVD player I can use that will give me an option to choose audio output, or will I need to use an A/V receiver?

Hi-

Welcome to AVS Forum.

You posted your question in an "HD DVD" section, which is a specific HD disc format that was made several years ago and is different from regular DVD players (and Blu-ray players). You will probably get a better response in a standard DVD or Blu-ray forum area.

A basic answer to your question, though, is that most disc players will let you use audio from their analog or optical outputs even when using HDMI for video.
