I currently have two budget subs in my HT setup, Dayton Sub-1200s. I want to add a VTF-2 MK4 for ULF. My HT room is a bonus room, upstairs about 20Wx10Hx10L approx. My question is should I ditch the Daytons and just use the Hsu sub in a corner position or use the Daytons with the Hsu as a 3 sub combo? I know these two brands are totally different class of subs in almost every category but is there a way to blend them together without being boomy and/or ruining the quality of bass for music?
