I sit 11 ft from my LS-6's and can get as far back as 16 ft. I don't notice any difference between these distances. My kids will sit as close as 4 ft.

My IB plus LS-6 speakers is audio bliss.

I bet, that a perfect mix of those two, the sheer ability of IB down low with a main speaker that digs deep enough to cover any misgivings some other LCR's might leave to be desired!

I don't think you'll have any problems with them sitting that close, other than concerns over the potential bass output.

In my HT, I had LS9's in the front, approximately 9 feet from the first row of seats and 16 feet from the second row. Sides were LS9s and were 8 feet from the sides of the end chairs. The rears were LS6's and were about 7 feet from the second row.

Never had a problem, other than being cramped for space.

I think you'll be just fine.

I sit 10' from mine currently but have sat as close as 8' with no ill effects. I believe 8' is what Danny Richie said is as close as anyone should be to the LS-6/9.
