keiga or Hypex plate amp

Thread Starter
I have started a diy sub project. Build is a dual ported 9.5 cubic foot box tuned to around 18hz for HT use only. The sub is a dayton RSS390HF-4 15. I have been in a holding pattern on the plate amp as i have seen the reviews on the dayton's and do not feel that the quality of them are worth the purchase do to the humming and sleep mode popping issues. Also the oaduio bash amps are currently out of stock and there is not currently a restocking date on them. So I believe my only choice are below. Let me know your thoughts or if these are over kill.
Does anyone have experience with the keiga 52100 sp 1000 watt amp or the Hypex DS8.0? If so what have your experiences been? Don't really want to drop that kind of money but if thats what it takes to get a good quality amp then maybe that's what I need to do. Thoughts? Suggestions?

I have, and have used, the big Keiga and it is a beast. It is quiet, powerful, and trouble-free. BTW, it is not being used. If interested, send me a PM.
