Netflix Strikes Streaming Deal With Disney, Gains Exclusive Access To New Titles Beginning In 2016

Looks like two things happened:

Starz lost Netflix.

And Neflix worked around the Starz agreement to get catalog content directly from Disney immediately.

Not until 2016, and the movies have to have been released on DVD / BD for sale prior to streaming them.

Just like HBO, Showtime and Starz (hence the discussion of Starz losing Disney to Netflix).

In the meantime, Netflix also gets access to some Disney catalog.
