I am not sure what i should be setting up for watching downloaded movies, i have looked at the movie properties and most are just 2 channel.
I was going to setup a laptop to my projector to watch these movies but am unsure of the audio setup i should use, if i use a usb sound card with 5.1 sound will i get 5.1 sound if i connect it to a receiver and speakers or just stereo?
The room i was going to set this up in is just 8.5ft x 12ft so i was thinking a soundbar may be a better choice, the main question is can i get 5.1 sound from the movie source.
