I have a dilemma and i need some help.

I hope with the wealth of experience on here I can find a solution.

This is the scenario.

I have recently completed a kitchen extension on my house.

At the moment I am feeding picture to a tv in the kitchen from an HDMI splitter in the living room (through double doors) directly from the Sky HD box.

The audio has bad delay so I am now feeding the audio signal via Toslink from the living room TV to a stereo in the kitchen.
The TV in the living room has a delay setting and this corrects the sound so it doesn't faze between rooms.


I am looking at adding an AV receiver and have done some research into Denon/Pioneer around the mid range 2313-1022 models.

The clear message I am getting is Zone 2 will not be able to feed the audio signal from the sky box due to it been a digital signal.

Airplay and internet radio etc will be fine but what if I want the movie or news on in both rooms at the same time.
I can feed the picture to zone 2 via my hdmi splitter but will i still need to feed the audio signal va toslink from the TV in the living room to the tv in the kitchen ?

Or is there a model that will allow me to feed the sky box audio to zone 2 and not have delay in sound.

The answer is yes it does.
My feeling is this will work but the sound will be delayed. I wonder if you can change this with a sync setting within the system.

Has anyone got this type of set up.
