Using Stretched Canvas Prints as room treatments?

Thread Starter
hi guys. I recently start buying stretched canvas prints for our house. I don't know much along the lines of room treatments, but from pictures I see of other people's HT's, they look sorta similar. I was curious as to thoughts on using large canvas prints as room treatments, or even further to that, using some sort of "fill" to fill in the empty space behind the print itself to improve its "room treating ability". thoughts??

Canvas in front of "real" absorption is okay for bass traps, but it's not suitable for use at reflection points or for overall ambience control.

Like Ethan stated, those canvas are good for bass traps freq say 250h & below.
The thread I posted fabric material is good for your reflection points management scheme.
