Hi there, I own a Lexicon DC-1 and while it still produces some of the best surround sound audio I have heard (DTS especially) I would like to upgrade to a pre/pro that offers decoding of the new lossless formats. I see Lexicon only builds the $12K+ HD processor now that will decode the newer formats. I am looking more for ~$5K but with the same excellent Lexicon sound quality.
I see there is a new Outlaw pre/pro coming out soon and many people recommend the NAD and Marantz gear. My use is 60% movies and 40% 2-channel music, so sound quality is the priority (a two channel bypass mode like the Lexicon would be awesome). Thanks for any suggestions!
