Seems like ive been reading on this forum and others everyday for months. I am new to hometheater and have had a 5.1 system for 5 months now a denon 1913 and pioneer pkfs51. My room is 15x19x8 and can be complete closed off. It sounds great truly blown away by the sound on music and movies. We use it for 60 movies 40 music. The sub does sound decent but I know I'm missing a lot The sub on the pioneer system just can't hang.its set at 12 on the gain on the sub and the receiver at -5.5. I'm looking or that low end the system is missing and output to match the speakers. I'm interested in the svs pb1000 and if you think it would meet my needs. Any info you can help would be great .size of sub and price seem to fit perfect. The key is price and sub while id like to spend more or something a little bigger, im pushing it now with the wife. Thanks for taking time to answer

The SVS PB 1000 should work out just fine smile.gif

Not exactly sure about what sub you currently have, but I think it's an 8" sub (based on a quick Google of "FS51 pack"). The PB-1000 will play louder, hit harder and dig much deeper than that sub. It should be nothing short of a revelation. And for $499, shipped, it's a heck of a value, too.
