Hello AVS Speaker experts. I just got a new Marantz 1602 7.1 Receiver & would like to turn my old 5.1 Cambridge SoundWorks Ensemble system into a 7.1; but need advice on what speakers I should get to add the 2 extra surround channels.

I'd like them to have similar audio characteristics so that the system remains sonically balanced.

Are there any new speakers which would do the trick, or should I be trying to find old Ensemble or other speakers on eBay?

I know there were several generations of Ensemble, how different are they?

Much thanks! smile.gif

I'm not sure which Ensemble series they are.

There are 3 sets of (Passive sub + Mid/tweeter bookshelf) for the Center, Left & Right channels. Two "The Surround" speakers designated LEFT or RIGHT. & One Powered Sub.
