Yamaha RXV 2400 vs Denon AVR-2112CI

Hi guys. I need a little advice.
I get a choice of using an older yamaha RXV 2400 (no hdmi) that has a lot of bells and whistles for it's time but I also got a good deal on the denon 2112CI for $250. I was wondering which would be a better choice overall for quality sound and making the most out of the speakers I have. I have 6 ohm sonus faber concerto home for fronts and sonus faber center as well. I use the system mostly for home theater and a little music (90-10). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'd suggest the newer 2112CI as it is not only HDMI capable but also uses Audyssey MultEQ XT which includes Dyn EQ (improvess bass/surround response as low volumes) and Dyn Vol (lowers loud explosions and obnoxious TV commercials).
