If one were to spend $750 on each speaker which one would you get. Or do you have other suggestions. Got a Denon 1913 and a Hsu VTF-2 MK4 sub. Looking for really nice floor speakers.

I have the RTIa7 and its a huge improvements over the TSi models; even in sound quality; built quality and performance. I used to have the older TSi Models in which sounds pretty good; can't remember what was called that model by that time; I think was Monitor 70's and sold it to get the RTiA7s.

So; RTiA9 should be awesome. Im trying to sell my RTia7 and get the Factory Refurbished RTi12 in which is the same as the RTiA9s for $375 each!!...

They are factory refurbished; so I can imagine the quality is nearly the same as brand new.

Never heard B&W; its s tough decision; they looks awesome!!! but I can assure you can't go wrong with RTiA9s.

Shhhhh, I'm ordering some refurb RTi12's on the 12th of the month. I don't want them to run out of stock before then.

I've heard the 683s and they were the best I listened to at the time for mids and highs.

I've listened to various RTi speakers although not the 9s. IMO they don't come close to the mids and high clarity, depth, detail, air.... etc of the 683.

Your AVR will power neither to much bass or mid-bass punch unless your room is pretty small.

If your choice is between those 2 and since you have a good sub the 683s would be the MUCH better choice. IMO of course. Best if you can go listen to both though.

Sound preferences can sure differ. My favorite that I have owned was the B&W 801's while my sons favorite were the Newform Research R645's. Both owned at the same time. Totally different sound.
Auditioning isn't always possible so sometimes you have to take your best guess.
