I use Serviio to stream all sorts of video and audio content via a wired Ethernet cable from my Windows 7 PC to a TV in another room. If I download or rip a TV show or movie etc., Serviio will will easily stream it to the Samsung Smart TV. Or the TV will look for it in a designated folder on my computer via Serviio. I want to just save and record local OTA HD programs. I already have an antenna that sends local HD ATSC channels to the Smart TV. My main question, if I install a HVR-950Q (or anything) at the computer and use my existing OTA antenna, will saved DVR programs be saved in a format that Serviio can see and then stream to the TV? The Servio will support the following video files: Video: MPEG-1 (.mpg, .mpeg), MPEG-2 PS (.mpg, .mpeg, vob, mod), MPEG-2 TS (.ts, .m2ts), MPEG-4 (.mp4, m4v, mov), AVI (.avi, .divx), Windows Media Video (.wmv, .asf), Matroska (.mkv), Flash (.flv, .f4v), DVR-MS (.dvr, .dvr-ms), WTV (.wtv), OGG (.ogv, .ogm), 3GP (.3gp)
