Recently got out of a divorce where the ex-wife took my beautiful 65" TV. I have moved into a new house and want to setup a theater room to relax in.
The room I am looking at using for the theater room is in the middle of the house and is dark throughout the day by simply closing the doors. I am looking at a 120" or 100" screen.
Room Dimensions...
Floor to Ceiling: 8 foot
The room is 17 ft by 17 ft.
I will be sitting roughly 10-12 feet from the screen.
I will primarily be using the projector for TV, BluRays, and some console gaming. I do not wand have no need for 3D. (I am blind in one eye, I refuse to pay for a dimension that I am not going to use.)
My question is this... would you suggest a 100" or a 120" screen?
The projectors I have been looking at are:
PT-AR100U
Epson 8350
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
