I think it would awesome to have Miracast built into the next wave of AV receivers. It feels like a natural place for it to exist. Here are a few reasons why:
The main point of this post is to drum up some support before CES 2013. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to see this happen.

- I hate the idea of another box sucking up an HDMI port just for this.
- Most people have their receiver out in the open. Having the antenna built into the faceplate would give most people awesome reception most of the time.
- If it just popped up when you connected with your device without having to change inputs that would be even better. I'd feel like Tony Stark in Iron Man 2 when he connects to the monitors in congress http://youtu.be/2VdZFKT5YTc
- The AV receiver is already the media hub in most home theater setups.
- Because we need another way to watch cat videos in the living room.
