Confusion about Espon 8350 vs 8700UB brightness

Hi,

I am confused about Epson 8350 and 8700UB brightness on projectorcentral's calculator.

I use screen size of 100 inch, throw distance of 17 feet. I got 16FL for 8350 and 25FL for 8700UB. This is contrary to lumen rating of the two, which are 2000 and 1600, respectively.

Optically they seem to be the same (same zoom, etc.). The contrasts are different, but I am not sure this should affect brightness.

Hope some of you can shine some lights for this discrepancy.

Thank you for your reply. It seems projectorcentral may have error in its calculation. The site you gave shows about the same brightness indeed, although I was expecting 8350 to be brighter.
