Using XBOX on a 3D TV/Sharp

I can't seem to find any clear answers on whether or not there are games that will work or even if the technology works, are there some games that would work on a newer 3D TV?

If I'm looking in the wrong spot, sure would appreciate a pointer in the right direction smile.gif

Thanks!

Doom 3 is the best example. It holds the best framerate by far, and framerate issues are more pronounced in 3D.

Gears of War 3 does 3D, but at a far lower resolution. It's so blocky that any coolness of 3D gets ruined by the terrible image quality. A couple of other games do 3D as well, but in general, poorly.

If you want more support for 3D games then the PS3 is the place to be. Almost all of their first party games do it these days. It's still pretty poor, but far more numerous than on the 360. Really though, 3D on the modern consoles is a poor use of resources. Any rendering time spent on stereoscopy is far better spent somewhere else like ensuring a stable framerate, a better lighting engine, or anti-aliasing.

Thanks, building another pc, just for Nvidia/3dtv etc. so might stick with that for the time being until "next gen".... comes out. Appreciate it. They need to figure out how to get all the data to the tv, and of course a buying public!
