Inexpensive LED light fix ($1.99)

I just got a new Panasonic TV which has a piercing red power light which can not be turned off. I thought about putting a piece of tape over it but then I could not see if it was on with no source. I found these... http://www.lightdims.com

for $1.99 it fixed my problem plus I used it on a few other things.

You can get a pack for free with 1.99 s&h
or get over 100 for $5.99 plus .99 s&h

I thought for $1.99 it was a definite deal.

layer a few small pieces of scotch tape over the LED. not nearly as bright, but still able to be seen.

Scotch tape is ghetto! Light dims are awesome. Yes, they are overpriced what what they are but STILL they are a cheap fix AND look good.
I love the varying tints as well. Of course I am the weird guy who also buys port cover to put over unused RCA jacks and usb inputs. I HATED the fact that my Oppo 103 has an exposed usb port while my 93 had a cover! :-)
To each their own, but I love my light dims...

Just buy some dark window tint and apply however many layers necessary to dim light.
