Samsung UN55ES7003 - Disable Automatic Smart Hub Menu Display

About 2-3 minutes after I turn on my TV, for a brief instant the Smart Hub menu displays with the current picture appearing in the top-left corner. I don't have to intervene to correct it; the picture reverts back to the original content. But this seems like an unintended "feature". Any ideas on how to prevent this?

Hi There,

I do have the same problem, Smart Hub menu displays and vanishes automatically, its not causing any issue but back of a mind it always stays smile.gif ..

I called Samsung but they dont have any solution, have you been able to fix it ?.

Apparently a known issue. I have it too as do many others reporting on various Samsung "owners'" threads. Supposedly a fix to come in the next firmware update, but no one knows for sure.

After changing my HD Cable box ( to newer one) , I dont see the Smart Hub appearing again after turning on 2 ro 3 minutes later.... I guess this was fixed automatically.

Apparently the SmartHub was updated and the flash is gone - I haven't checked on my own set, but lots of folks in the ES7100 owners' thread reported on this a day or two ago.
