oppo 95 - connecting a multi-disc changer

Is it possible to connect a multi-disc changer to the Oppo 95 and output the signal thru the dedicated stereo ouputs. I am too lazy to get up to change disc after listening. or does it have storage capacity so one can save a bunch of music?.......thanks for your help.

Welcome to AVSForum.

You should ask this is the BDP-95 owner's thread: http://www.avsforum.com/t/1311806/official-oppo-bdp-95-owners-thread

Connect how? The -95 has USB input but the changer would have to appear as a USB mass storage device. Is there such a thing?

The player itself has no built-in storage but you can attach your own USB drives. Files on the drive would have to be of the supported types. See the BDP-93 FAQ in my signature for details.

Bill: Thanks for providing the link to the OPPO owner's thread.

dorai: Welcome to AVS. As Bill pointed out, we have structured this part of the forum with owner's threads for each make and model. All questions and comments about that player would fall into the owner's thread.

Another option to widen the net for research is to post in our "help me chose a BR player" sticky thread with the requirements you are seeking in a BR player.

Welcome and good luck in your search

Ron
