He either is a CSR or has access to the information that CSRs have access to. He has quoted many corporate e-mails as they have come out, and otherwise gives out information only employees have access to.
To think that because nothing has been in the paper lately means nothing until June is crap. Obviously, a statement like that would be motivated by internal communication.
There is a fine line between giving some information on a public board (throwing the community-at-large a bone), and going too far. Giving out internal employees names on a public board is going too far. Directly quoting internal information (without even paraphrasing?) is too far.
I guess everyone should be glad that companies have people monitoring this kind of stuff. Cox isn't really in a position to retain problem employees at the moment. It's not rocket science figuring this kind of stuff out. It puts front line reps in a really bad position when people from here call up quoting the board about things that are not public knowledge yet.
