So did the April storm take KPTM off the air today ( Sunday) or is it more than just the ending of the 4PM news cast. First noticed about noon today that I was not getting a broadcast from them over the air. Checked the local via Dish Network and not there either. Also checked their sister station 15 and it is not seen either place too. Anyone have an idea what happened? Are they seen on COX? I am pretty sure that Dish is broadcasting a signal that the get OTA but not sure how COX gets the signal.

Full Royals TV slate now on Cox

The Kansas City Royals entire 140-game television package will now be available to subscribers of Cox Cable, the largest TV provider in Topeka and much of Kansas.

Geoff Goldman, a spokesman for the Fox Sports Kansas City network that originates all Royals telecasts, announced Wednesday that an agreement had been reached between the network and the cable company that will allow the telecast of the Wednesday night Royals at Chicago game, as well as Friday's home opener against the Yankees at the renovated Kauffman Stadium.

Until the two sides reached their agreement, Wednesday's game and the Friday home opener, as well as Sunday's series finale against New York, were not part of the 100-game package Cox agreed to carry.

Fox Sports KC expanded the Royals TV schedule from 100 to 140 games last year. The full package was carried on satellite TV providers, but Cox chose not pick up the additional 40 games, citing an added expense it did not want to pass on to its customers.

Goldman said 99 of the 140 games would be broadcast in high definition.

At this time I know of no plans to add or show any of the MLB Extra Innings package in HD. We are using our bandwidth at this time to add HD programming that all of our customers can view and not just our seasonal or sports packages. That does not mean that we will not at some time in the future this could not change but not at this current time. The MLB Network will be added in HD at the end of April but not the package. If there is anything else we can do for you, please do not hesitate to let us know.

I even had my unit unplugged for 24 hours (had carpeting put in the family room so had to unplug everything) so I know my DVR doesn't need to be rebooted.

Does FSN not show a lot of HD - I knew at one time they didn't, but I also had read that by the 1st Quarter of 09 they would be broadcasting everything in HD. Perhaps they meant only live games, and not regular programming that they upconvert?

I have data til next thrusdayon my dvr. if you do not it might need to reloaded. try pressing guide on the dvr till it says read on the front of the dvr to redownload the data.
