Suggestions for motorized drop-down screen and projector

I am looking for screen and projector recommendations for my room. See attached pictures for room and dimensions. I figure because of the height of my ceiling (13 ft or a bit more), I need a motorized retractable drop down screen that would drop down a bit before unrolling the screen.

I've looked online at Screen Innovations products - particularly the black diamond.

I'm also not sure how big I can go with the screen given the room dimensions and still retain enough lumens. But I know I want to go as big as possible.

Also there is no chance I'd paint anything dark since the room is a multipurpose living room.

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

(I'd like also to put a 70" LCD in where I'm currently using a small projector, a Vizio E701i-A3 when they become generally available, for daytime viewing. See 2nd pic.)

Thanks!

Nice room, but not real projector friendly. Any type of shades on the windows? Are you planning on using flat panel during the day and projector at night? Give us a call and we can talk about your options.

Any chance the space behind that wall is available for a rear projection system? Get the PJ out of sight, keep the ceiling fan and floor space, no need for an lcd tv... Stewart StarGlas would work really well I think (and be very pricey, but I'm guessing that is not your primary concern if your considering the SI retractable).

See 2nd pic on the shades.

Yes, that is the plan. Use the flat panel during the day. A 70" will fit in that recess.
A projector only after dark. I am in southern Arizona, so the sun is extremely bright.

The wall behind is the master bedroom. So not available for rear projection mirror etc.

I have deleted the ceiling fan already. The projector screen must be retractable.

What are my options? Thanks very much,

Sandiway

The SI Black Diamond Electric would work very well for you. As for projector, several will work well with that screen. Need to know what throw distance is available and what you want to use your projector for, to determine the best fit. Only problem I see is mounting the screen, need to work that out. Give us a call and we can discuss how to set this up.
