Help me choose a new receiver for 3d material

I just purchased an Epson 5010 projector, my first projector, and need to replace a Yamaha reciever. I use a 125 watt x 7 Emotiva amp, I am not against a seperate preamp but probably an av receiver makes more sense as I could use some of the features it might have over a preamp. I run 2 subs so it has to manage this, I have Yamaha, HK, Onkyo and Denon receivers. I prefer the sound of the Denons but I love my Onkyo for ease of set up. Any suggestions are appreciated, trying to spend around 500-600 street price and I don't mind going refurb. Thanks

Any current HDMI receiver will handle 3D material. Just make sure you get one with preamp outputs if you plan to use your Emotiva amp.

Denon 3312 will do the trick.

I'd pass up on the 3312CI at AC4L as there have been more than a few defective units out of there. Otherwise, also note that you can still use your current AVR if you purchase a dual HDMI 1.4 BDP instead of having to shell out for a newer AVR.

I'll look into the Marantz, I have that Denon model already and I find some of the menus a bit confusing compared to my Onkyo.

If you can handle the Ezset/EQ and lack of standby pass-through, the H/K AVR 3600 is only $399 refurbed from Harman's ebay store and that also has pre-outs.

I have no idea what the Ezset/EG is, I will research it, thanks, any feelings on the Onkyo's, love the easy menus and sound

EZset/EQ is Harman's in house set up program similar to Audyssey. The general opinion is that Audyssey is superior. The H/K is considered to have one of the best menu systems available. Onkyo's have had severe reliability programs the past few years so I hesitate to recommend, though their features for the dollar can't be beat.

I think I'm going to have to spend more to get the better bass management in Audyssey for 2 subs to smooth things , I always spend more than I plan to
