Disable Airplay power-up on Pioneer VSX-1021

Hi guys. Is ther any way to disable the receiver from turning on by an iphone/ ipad airplay function? My wife and daughter are constantly accidentally selecting airplay on the audio output selection from their iphones and it turns the receiver on in my theater room, or switches to music while im watching tv. Annoying. If not, is there a way to lock the reciever from use?

nope... short of diabling network standby (which won't help if the avr is already on)...

workaround is to create a separate subnet, put the avr on that, and restrict access to that subnet by the mac id of the devices that you want to have access...
