I know, believe me, the Denon is going to be considered by many as ancient. But it comes from a time when Denon made great, and I mean great, gear in Japan. I really only need a 2 channel amp but found one with a matching tuner. Or....for about the same money can get a much much newer Yahaha receiver.
The Yamaha has a feature called Pure Direct that seems desireable, and is just newer, but is my nostalgia for Made in Japan truly a good one?
