Yes, NASCAR is great at promoting their show, in the U.S. No one else cares about it. Nevertheless, promotion doesn't make a series great. It makes it popular...that can be bought.
And to answer your question, I have been to 5 F1 races, as well as 15 ALMS races, numerous World Challenge races, support races, a ChampCar race, and two Rally Americas events.
My niece still loves her Lewis Hamilton shirt.
