While I am not going to complain about the Indy 500 talk in this thread to much, Indycar really should have its own thread. Actually, I would say there needs to be just three threads. One for Nascar, one for F1 and one for all of the other racing series.
Outside of the 500, I don't really care about Indycar, so it will be the only race I watch this year. I am curious how ABC is going to handle not having Ashley Judd there.
A little OT. I just saw the ESPN video with Lindsey Czarniak, which reminds me of another one of my stupid mistakes (to many to count). About a decade ago, I met her and had a chance to go out with her. I didn't follow through. Funny enough, we talked about every sport except racing. I didn't know she was a big fan till later.
Back to topic. I thought Honda had to at least offer their engine to other teams. I would be curious if the manufacturers can charge the teams whatever they want or if it has to be a fixed price for all the teams. If they can charge whatever they want, then they could offer it to Mclaren for $15 mill and to the other teams for $40 mill. Of course, that would not be in the best interest of the manufacturer.
On the subject of engine pricing, I actually thought the pricing would have been higher. I am curious what the stupid aero budget is. On second thought don't tell me.
