Just saw Hamilton on Top Gear. Interesting. I dont want to spoil it for anyone wondering about his time in the ordinary car vs all the other F1 drivers but he did well. For those who dont know, Vettel has been on top for quite a while.

My friends in England told me the result.I have seen the Vettel episode he was very fast.! When will that Hamilton episode air over here? Vettel was pretty funny sitting there listening to Hammond bring up the fact about Vettel naming his cars.. He seems to be a nice young man that loves racing. I really enjoyed him on David letterman edits and all!

DirecTV guide data for Top Gear is foobar and has been for some time. New episodes are flagged as repeats. If you want new episodes you're just gonna have to record all episodes.

Thanks I thought something was weird in the search guide! I went to the DirecTV site and reprogrammed my receiver to hopefully record the episode shown on Thursday. I will end up recording everything to get what I require.

For some reason, this new season is having trouble matching up with the guide....I missed an episode.

Yeah, and that's a real PITA because they rerun a lot of episodes. You'll have dozens of old shows in your queue before you realize it.

I don't have Direct, but on the FIOS DVR, you can set it to record new and repeats, but just select the Monday night at 9pm show time. That way it won't record the other 20 episodes a week that they play. Is that an option on Direct's DVR?

Hell, Monday is close enough now that you should be able to just go to the Guide and manually set it to record that specific episode. My Guide will take me a week into the future.

On DirecTV you can set a recurring recording manually...but I thought that went out with the VCR.

At least they have it in HD now. For the longest time DirecTV had BBCA in SD only, and then they would air commercials on BBCA bragging how they have more HD than DISH, but DISH already had BBCA-HD. rolleyes.gif

Maybe I explained it incorrectly. This isn't a manual setting. For that you could just use the guide and press the rec button! biggrin.gif I meant setting up a series. In the options for new only or new and repeats, you select new and repeats. Then there is another option to select any time, or currently selected show time. Select current show time (9pm Monday). That way, it records the "repeat" (new) show but only at 9pm on Monday and not the other 20 some odd repeats they show all week long. Hopefully you have that option.

No. DirecTV does not have that option. You can manually setup a recurring recording for every Monday at 9 on BBCA.

This is GREAT news. Rossi seems to be like Skywalker - our only hope. smile.gif We need an American driver in F1 badly. Not just for the US but for the entire sport. Especially with 2 Grands Prix in the US in 2014 (hopefully). GO USA!!!
