Agreed,it's almost like back in the days of the Shu.RBR can't be blamed for having the best car and driver combo but it is getting old.Hopefully with the new regs. next year and Honda coming on board we will see a break in the monotony.

I still think Alonso is the best driver in the paddock, and Kimi 2nd (when he is motivated with a good car).

I think this was a Freudian slip.
At this point, it will come down to how bad LdM wants to win the championship next year.
Will Kimi and Alonso be enough to take the Constructor's Championship?
For 2014, it really is the only way available to stop RB.

At least he isn't denying that Massa is definitely out.

+1 As Ive said many times. I like him but personality doesnt win races. Hes had a decent career and its time to move on to Sports cars or something. It would be awesome to see him drive IndyCar.

IIRC, Honda said they won't have their engine ready until 2015.confused.gif

I think everyone at Ferrari "likes" the little guy.
Heck, it's hard not to.
But LdM wants Ferrari back on top, as they were during the Schumacher era.
You can't really blame him for that.

Ferrari is the only car company in the world who builds street cars to pay for their racing teams.
At Ferrari, it's ALL about racing.wink.gif

This report seems to be gathering some steam. Still very sad to see Massa shown the door, but the writing appears to be on the wall.

I would not at all mind seeing a top team with two WC's on the payroll. It will probably all end in tears, but from a fan perspective, it will be fun to watch (potentially).

I saw/heard one of these the other day, bright orange and LOUD.The one in the article should have been impounded for that hidious paint job.

Just watched The Making of Rush. Looks great. Im psyched.
One thing that I thought was the most interesting. The F1 cars they used are the actual cars that were driven during the 76 season including Hunts and Laudas. The owners of the cars let Ron Howard use them for the film.

Thats insane. Youd think they would sell it or give it to the Highway Patrol or something.

Thats the Law for you, plus most states are hurting for cash and that thing would bring a good prices.

I don't think Kimi is our only hope, but I do think it would give us the strongest driver lineup on the grid, which would give us the best chance of winning. Then all we would need is a spy in Adrian's inner circle! biggrin.gif

Agreed. While I would love for Ferrari to win, I would still be happy if someone other than Vettel did. I just can't get excited about a race that I already know the winner of before it starts.

A friend of mine brought up a good point the other day. Back in the Schumacher era, he said that they were constantly changing the rules trying to prevent Ferrari from winning year after year. Ferrari just adapted well to the changes and continued to dominate. Now we have RB dominating, and they haven't really changed anything to stop them. Remember when they outlawed the double diffuser and then reinstated it the next race? That's it. They finally eliminated the "double diffuser", but they have let them practically duplicate the result with the exhaust flow which of course Newey is the master of. Finally, for next year, they have changed it so the exhaust can provide no benefit whatsoever. Not bad, after 4 years...... rolleyes.gif

I saw that video on YouTube awhile ago. It seemed to be earlier than the date in the article for sure?
