Since I posted about this in another thread more info has come forth so it's time for thread dammit!

Latest news, complete multi-track tapes for Drums & Wires has been obtained from EMI.
Looks like they're going to do all the original albums they can.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Black Sea, English Settlement, Oranges & Lemons and everything else!
Really great news.

Cool!

Thanks for the info. XTC is one of my favorite bands. I would think that Andy Partridge would somehow be involved in this venture, also.

Nice! I created a XTC channel on Pandora and have been listening to nothing else for the past month! Nigel should sound great in 5.1 - turned up to 11!

What is the norm on how much time it takes to mix and release a SW recording? I can't wait for Drums and Wires!

I don't think it's a matter of how long it takes him as much as it's when the record company gets around to releasing it. In that case, who knows? For instance, the ELP stuff was supposedly done pretty quickly, but there is a bunch of King Crimson stuff that's been done but won't be released for a while.

BTW, I believe Nonsuch is also going to be done.
