Howdy,
I have a venerable, old Sony 605 ESD CD player that now has wobbly RCA outputs. They jiggle and cause static, and even channel cut out.
I have opened the box and there's nothing to tighten -- it's a single unit that would have to be replaced.
However, the 605 ESD also has an optical digital output that I've never used.
I'm wondering about getting a converter for that to go to my analog amplifier (Denon PMA-770).
Any ideas?
What I'm seeing a lot of is coax, and the digital out on this unit is not coax - it's optical.
