If this is in the wrong part of the forums go ahead and move it. So I have an old Jcpenny turntable I hooked it up to my Aiwa stereo receiver turned up the gain but something just doesn't sound right.
The turntable is outputing through the aux jacks there are no groundloops and no feedback but towards the end of my Dark Side of the Moon LP (great album) the sound quality is horrible it's like the turntable is being overloaded, and it sound like a bad mp3. The album is Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon remastered and is brand new, the only thing that's "wrong" with it is that it attracts lint. Thanks for the help everyone.
