I have been more than happy with my PS3 slim functioning as my blu ray player for the last couple years. However the other night while watching Lawrence of Arabia on blu, I heard the fan running quite noisily for the first time.
This is not acceptable. Obviously they wont be getting any quieter in the future only louder.
So now I have to talk myself into / justify a player upgrade. Looking at the Oppo BDP-103. Do you think I will see any improvement in overall performance, or less perhaps, or about the same?
