newbie here best bang for the buck 3d glasses...

hi peeps,am a newbie to this 3d stuff so bare with me... I have a samsung PN59D550 I've had the tv for almost a year now and have yet tried using or watching a 3d movie. So now I want to know what are some good but not expensive 3d glasses I can buy? And also I have a ps3 what kinda hdmi cable will I need to use 3d? Or can I use the regular hdmi cable am using? Thanks for any help guys/gals

Your HDMI cable is fine. How about these glasses:

You can test the HDMI thing right now. Turn on the PS3, put in a game, and see if it goes into 3D mode with your set. You should see blurry images without using glasses and the TV should go into 3D mode.

Thanks nickels55! Yea when I pressed the 3d button on my samsung tv remote I saw the blurry images . So I'm assuming the hdmi cable is capable to be use with 3d ? Thanks again
