Any well known particularly high quality commercial release mastered & recorded VHS films?

Trying to get some VHS cassettes to test with.

Something like Mobile Fidelity releases or just a quality regular studio release.

PS - Was Excessive Edge Enhancement also common on VHS like it was on early DVD releases?

Thanks!

I have a SVHS test signal tape. I don't recall who made it. It wasn't Reference Recordings, or MoFi, and I kinda doubt that either of those outfits made a VHS test tape. I had a rather good VHS tape of the Pink Floyd movie "The Wall," That I used to use to test VHS decks.

Liar, Liar staring Jim Carey apparantly has some really strong CP. Also the Young Indiana Jones tapes.

Hard to find a test tape in VHS or SVHS.

I have this VHS test tape, purchased many many years ago. I used it to calibrate my tube TVs back in the day. It even came with a glass blue filter for adjusting tint. I ordered it mail order from the back of one of the Video magazines of the time. I can't remember but I'd guess it cost ~$50 bucks at the time. I'm really surprised to see you can still order one, it sounds identical to mine.

Was this the one you got
V2-RMS-V or V3-RMS

I'd guess mine is the V2-RMS-V but again I purchased mine many years ago(probably 25 years) and I doubt it was from Markertek. I don't really know what the difference between the two part numbers are, one says VHS but the other doesn't specify the tape format.....
