Input lag on Epson 5020 or 6020?

So I am shopping for a new projector and have seen some comments about "input lag". Now I am concerned about playing games on the new projector. I play COD, Drakes fortune, battlefield and such. I have had no lag issues at all on my Sony vpl v100. Will a new Epson some how perform worse in video games that my 6 year old Sony? Are talking really bad? Or just really minor and not noticeable? Any gamers using the Epson 5010 5020 6010 or 6020. I would love to hear some opinions. Thanks a lot.

You will not have a problem. I play ALOT of games on my 6010 and have never experienced any lag. I worried myself to death with the exact same issue( so much that I actually took my XBOX to my dealer and tried it out). I play mostly FPS, BF3, Gears of War and never have any issues. I have mine connected through an Onkyo 809 and have no issues. I read all of those reviews about horrible lag and am certainly thankful that I didn't listen. Get it, put it on Dynamic mode and don't look back.

Agree, I have a 6010 and I don't notice the lag. I play mostly FPS online and it's never hampered my gaming.

Thats re-assuring. Man, reading all about these projectors is baffling. We home theater affacianados can be pretty critical! Its hard to know what is a truly valid and noticeable complaint versus simply finding things to criticize.
