Hey I just bought this receiver from Dell along with the Pinnacle MB10000. This is my first set up and I was wondering if it is possible to play music out of the USB while playing video out of HDMI 1?

Thanks, Alex

No, because you probably cant assign the USB port to an HDMI input.

If you want to do things like that it is probably best to run your source directly to the TV for video. The you can use whatever input you want on the receiver for audio.

Thank you for the fast reply, just wanted to check because I usually listen to music while playing video games but use the xbox for Netflix too so I was seeing if I had to switch it every time.

I would connect the Xbox directly to the TV for video and then run an optical cable from the Xbox to the receiver for audio for the times you actually want to hear your games..

I don't think the xbox has a hole for the optical imput.

Aren't there several versions of Xbox? Which one do you have?
