plate amp with sub sonic filter

Does the bash or dayton 500watt amps allow ssf adjustments? I see that they have boosts but very little on a highpass filter.

looking at cutting it around 12hz butterworth. The design that I have works out really well with this setup.

You will have to modify the ssf for both. You can calculate your own custom filter and replace a couple of resistors (not too difficult if you're handy with a soldering iron) on the BASH. I've never investigated the Daytons, but PE's tech support is great and I"m sure they can tell you how. BTW, the boosts that they spec are actually part of the ssf; they use a filter with a high-ish Q to get a boost above the cutoff frequency.

Do the plate amps even have a subsonic filter? I do not see anything about that in their spec sheets...

I know the Bash amps have a subsonic filter. The spec sheet has a table with what resistors you need to tweak the boost and rolloff. I think all Dayton amps have one too but its not listed on the site.
