I was planning to do 120 16:9, but lately I'm switching my dream to a CinemaScope screen. So I came with this conclusion that if I'm watching a 16:9 movie or show, the screen will still be 120. The question is, that I have to seating sofa that I'm planning to use. One is going to be at a 10 feet view and the last row is going to be at a 15 feet view. I can modify my first row to be at 12' feet. Is 150 CinemaScope too close for the first and second row?

I have a 133" scope screen (with lens) with around the same seating distances - first row @ ~11' and second row ~15-16'. If I did it over again, I'd go bigger, probably close to 150". If you go that size, just consider if your PJ can get enough brightness for your tastes...
