Epson Loyalty Program?

Hi,

I am the owner of an Epson 1080UB and want to replace it with another Epson projector. I read that some users received a discount purchasing from Epson direct receiving a 'loyalty program' discount. Is that true? How can I apply for this?

Thanks!

^ Got it.

Epson 3020 for:
Reg. Price:$1,599.00
You Save:$339.80 (21%)
Your Price:$1,259.20

Very, very nice.

I'm an Epson owner too. The same 1080UB, as a matter of fact. I've been a member of this forum since 1999 and I've never even heard a PEEP about anything called an Epson Loyalty Program and would have never even assumed such a thing existed had this question not come up. I thought it was a very good question and I hope someone comes along with a detailed post and not just a snide and uncalled for remark like yours.

Would you be so kind as to point me in the right direction? All I get from Google searches is a bunch of malware sites.

Sure!

Follow thes instructions:

1. Log onto the Customer Loyalty shopping area, http://www.epson.com/loyalty, and enter your email address and password.

2. Shop for select Epson products.

You might have to register first. The registration code changes biweekly (Google is your friend for this, but PM me if you want the code that expires on 12/28). Note that the 3020 had a discounted price; the 5020UB did not at this point in time (not sure why - maybe it's not in stock?). I am using my projector in a den/family room these days, so ultra black is not that important to me. The 3020 should work fine (I'll post a review/comparison to the 1080UB in the 3020 thread

Does the "Loyalty Passcode" on that page change every so often? How does one sign up?

I am not sure. I believe it changes frequently.

So it doesn't matter if you are a previous Epson owner or not? Or do we need our current projectors registered with them?

I am not too sure. I previously ordered a new air filter for my 1080UB at epson.com, which was sufficient. I think you can simply register with the code.

Out of curiosity ... does Epson email out the code every month? If so, to who? (current members?)
