Oh I'm too familiar unfortunately. Just found out Exton beverage by my work has 4 cases in stock. I'll be making a trip this afternoon, snow or snow not. biggrin.gif I'm also interested in trying out Nugget nectar from Troegs.

So I've been talking more with the wife about this event. It's looking like she's going to take the trip up on Friday early afternoon to her parents for the weekend in NY. Sounds like we will have free reign from then until late late Saturday / early Sunday. We can probably get a close to a full session in on Friday for those interested. biggrin.gif I'll probably take the day off work - actually, I'm sure I will haha.

I'm taking off that Friday too! Count me in if there is a Friday sign up.
I'll be coming down on Friday because of the length of my drive. I'll most likely be there in the early afternoon I'll be down for hanging out and unloading my stuff

Troegs is good stuff. I don't think they make anything I don't enjoy

Just a reminder I'll be hitting up Costco in DE on my way there, can bring any kind of food or drinks including a badass selection of liquor and a much shorter list of beers.

How are we fixed for ice?

For the full range category we can use a signal chain:
Laptop -> Schiit Bifrost -> Schiit Asgard 2 -> Amp(if not powered) -> Mains
Should provide higher quality everything to the mains.

For mains + subs we will have to use:
Laptop -> receiver -> Amp(if not powered) -> Mains/subs
like we did last time.

But again this is all tentative and we will have to see what works best/easiest the day/night before.....

Andrew, if I could make 1 request....... could you clean up your audio stack? I seem to remember a mass of cables in the back......tongue.gif Sorry, its the perfectionist in me coming out....

Dude....I spent the last 3 weeks before the October GTG busting my HUMP to get the room together. I literally finished construction of the room the week before the event. This included painting the entire basement, drywall work, screen, projector install, cabling, (4) dedicated 20A lines install, building DIY treatments, installing speakers, constructing the front half of the room from scratch (drywall, stands, sump pump), etc. I work 50+ hour weeks, train 8-10 hours a week, so any time I had for the room was me staying up late and free time on the weekends. I take alot of pride in what I do, but it came down to priority - and cleaning up the cables behind the rack seemed a bit less important than getting the screen, equipment, cabling, and the other vitals ready. Please accept my deepest apologies if I didn't meet your standards. eek.gif

A little late to the party (darn that forum subscription mechanism!) - Jim mentioned this stellar GTG and I would like to be added to the $25 overflow list. I am out by Nuance, but this GTG is more than worth the 14 hour drive!

Whoa, hey hey...

I should clear up that I was kidding about the $25 overflow tickets. I've actually had a few people PM me about it. Andrew has stated several times that those interested should simply post up their request to be added to the back-up list.
Sorry, that is what I get for trying to be funny. What I meant was I would like to be added to the wait list in case someone is not able to make it. smile.gif

I'll be flying down mid Friday afternoon so I'll definitely be there. Sounds like this GTG may even possibly surpass the previous one last October if that's possible - GREAT JOB GUYS!!!

Sounds like there will be plenty of food and beer so I'll kicking in towards the fund when I get there. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Cheers!

OK guys, I went back through the thread and the following will be added to the standby/reserve list:

mcallister
goonstopher
Blackdevil77
ALMFamily

If anyone else wants to be added to this list OR I've missed you in the thread, please PM Jim Wilson as he will be handling this.

Thanks!

Only 60 days left guys!!
Can't wait. I will only be a Sat attendee so hopefully that will be enough. I think it will. Did we put together an order that the speakers will be running? Both sets(full range and and the ones with subs will be running at the same time correct? I have a few that I really want to hear so I hope they will be played before I have to jet.
As I am on the standby list I am not sure that it matters, but I would be attending both days - provided you would have me of course! wink.gif
post #356 of 935
Standby please.. biggrin.gif Posted earlier.
Count me in for Friday as well. I'll also be taking off from work so can get there sometime in the late afternoon.

First two choices for Friday night in the defense of my crown. tongue.gif Still deciding and looking for what else to bring.
