I'm trying to take advantage of Best Buy's current TV sale and I'd like to know how to mitigate lag in my purchases.
I'd prefer not to get a plasma because I don't want to deal with all the setup that seems to be required to avoid burn-in. Furthermore, I'm going to be hooking up a lot of retro game consoles to this thing in addition to an Xbox 360 and possibly a PC in the future. I know a CRT is ideal in that situation, but that isn't an option right now, so I'd just like to find the least bad solution there. My absolute limit on size is 45", and I'll usually be sitting between 4' and 7' away from the screen. Lastly, one big problem I had when I initially checked BB was that a lot of their TVs no longer have composite out, and I still require at least one on the rear.
As an example, how are these two?
