Does the dvdo edge green zoom or scal 16:9 to CinemaScope

I would like to know if the edge green can either zoom 16:9 to make it look like cinemascope? Or scale to CinemaScope? I see the iscan duo doing this in YouTube, but I have not see the edge. Thanks

The Edge can do vertical stretch and horizontal squeeze for use with an A Lens, but I'm pretty sure it can't do the 16:9 shrink then stretch width to 2.35:1 like the Lumagen can.

However, please be aware that as impressive as the you tube clips of this might look, that the stretched 16:9 to 2.35:1 is done at a lower resolution as the black bars from 2.35:1 are zoomed off the screen, so only 1920 x 810 pixels are used: The 16:9 unstretched content is then viewed in a 'window' within the 2.35:1 screen at approx 1400 x 810, then when stretched to fill the width of th 2.35:1 screen it uses the 1920 x 810 section.

I used the shrink method myself with my Lumagen before I got a lens and it's useful for menus and trailers, but wasting resolution for a whole 16:9 film, so I would always rezoom for these films to get the full 1920 x 1080 image.

How using anamorphic lens makes itmhigher resolution? The data is still 1920 x 810. You only stretch it to full sensor and squeezing it back to get hgher brightness, not resolution.
