To buy or not to buy?

I have been wanting to switch to plasma for awhile now after seeing how much better it is compared to led ( at least in my opinion ) and have been waiting to pull the plug but now prices seem really good, I'm interested in the Samsung E7000 series. I'm wondering though should I wait for the 2013 plasma TV's??? Or you think it would be fine to purchase now?? Thanks for any input its always appreciated.

By most accounts, the best time to buy a tv is the two weeks before Christmas or wait till late January-February. By that time, the mfrs will be clearing out the previous year's inventory and getting ready for the current year. So if you don't mind having a 2012 tv in 2013, that would be the time to buy. As far as the Samsung E7000 series goes, I'd read thru the Samsung forum before you buy in case you haven't done so already.

If your interested in purchasing the 60 inch E7000. I would wait for the prices to go below $1600. Or at least get a additional tv for free or gift cards that get the tv price below $1600. I was able to purchase this tv 2-3 weeks ago for $1547 from Bestbuy after price matching with TigerDirect.
