Recommendation for Airplay Receiver

Hi All,

Posted recently about temperatures in an un-air-conditioned boat dock storage area, running speakers out to the deck area. I think I'm going to go for it and get a cooling fan to add on top of whatever receiver we decide to use.

I'm looking for a recommendation on what receivers to look at. I think the only things it will be used for: Airplay (iPad, iPod, etc) and possibly FM reception. It will not be hooked to a TV or theater set up, etc. Given the limited number of uses we have for it, I don't want to break the bank, but I would like decent quality for the Airplay (good range, etc).

Not sure yet, but probably powering 2 or 4 outdoor speakers - leaning towards Def Tech as I'm very pleased with my surround setup in my home.

Are there any "affordable" receivers to fit this scenario? I'll look forward to your suggestions.

PS - I was looking at the Sony 1800ES, but it may seem a bit overkill just for the Airplay and FM tuner.

Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately, the boat house/dock is too far away from the house and won't have access to a network. So as I've been researching, I think I need "bluetooth", not "airplay".
