I bought mine before self-powered subs had a signal sensing circuit. The switch to turn it on/off is in the back where you can't find it, so I have just left it on all these years.
Not really making any point, just that I was looking at its green LED and trying to figure out when I bought it, and realized that it had been on a really long time. Also, that I'm really lazy and won't search for the off switch.rolleyes.gif

LOL! Not that it matters now, but there are a couple ways to have it "switched".

1) You could either plug it into a switched outlet on your receiver (if it has one).
2) Use a "Monster Power" strip with delayed outlets on it.
3) There are other power strips with audio sensing capabilities in them.

Again - Not that it matters, now though....biggrin.gif

Is that typically recommended with subwoofers? I thought the higher power demands made it a bad idea to connect to the receiver's switched outlets.

I have a Klipsch SW-12 II that has been on for 18 years, save the time it took to move it from system to system as it got pushed farther and farther down to its final stop in my shop system.
